Arya Persian Restaurant in Ermita
If you like to try something Persian go for the Arya Persian Restaurant in Ermita. There are two branches of Arya in Ermita, one inside the Robinson Place and one just outside the main entrance of Robinson Place. I tried the one located outside, because that place is bigger with a more quiet ambience than the one inside the mall.
The menu was like a bible
The menu was like a bible with many options and I finally decided for the Mourgh Tanoori. I was hungry so I added 30 PHP extra to get Biryani rice instead of just getting Pita bread to my food. Mourgh Tanoori is skewers of chicken breast marinated in Tanoori sauce. The Biryani rice is basically spiced Basmati rice with some raisins and peanuts. The portions was big and the food was delicious. My only minor remark would be, they grilled the tomato but why not grill the green chili fruit as well? More tasty that way I think.

A Korean in Mall of Asia
This branch of Kyochon is a newly opened in the Mall of Asia, ground floor, north wing. It's a Korean style restaurant with chicken as their thing. "Chicken like you've never had before" is their slogan. And yes I can agree, I got a chicken that I never had before.
I ordered the Galbi Chicken Steak with Kimchi Fried Rice. The food was fresh and the chicken was newly grilled. The portion was not huge but still enough even for me allthough I am a big eater.
No MSG and Eco-friendly
I like their promises with no MSG, to cook with canola oil and their Eco-friendly concept.
Conclusion
The food was fresh and delisious, friendly and serviceminded staff, everything looked nice and clean. No Wi Fi, but if you feel the urge to be online when eating you can always connect to Mall of Asias free Wi Fi.

Isabelle Royale is located near Makati Avenue and just a couple of minutes walking distance from A. Venue Mall where you have shops, a supermarket and restaurants. Just near A. Venue Mall they also have a small night market with local food and live performances, nice and perfect for a tight budget! If you prefer a more upscale area like the Ayala Triangle or Greenbelt, you can get there with a taxi within minutes, depending on the traffic of course. As an alternative to taxi and heavy traffic, it felt safe to walk down the Makati Avenue to get there, even in the evenings.
View over the Makati skyline
The room was clean and had a nice view over the Makati skyline at night. WiFi was working good even in the room. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and a water boiler. The AC was the old style but it went fairly good to adjust the temperature. A simple but ok breakfast was included and served at the top floor. The staff was friendly and helpful. I did find some cockroaches in the room and therefore I can only give a 3 for the Cleanliness.

If you are in Manila, why not enjoy the magnificent view of this once dormant volcano? Named as the "Sleeping Giant”. Mt. Pinatubo’s eruption in 1991 altered global climate and caused mudflows to cascade down its slopes, destroying everything along its path and leaving behind a labyrinth of towering lahar cliffs. The Crater Lake within the mouth of the volcano has a halcyon shade of blue that contrasts with the black, strombolic fury it exhibited years ago.
A perfect day trip!
There are tour operators which arrange day trips from Manila to Mt Pinatubo and back. Expect an early pick-up at around 4-5 am, drive for a couple of hours to Capas, where your local guide will meet you. Upon arrival, transfer to a 4x4 jeep and experience a 2-hour ride and almost 2 hour-trek to the crater.

I have passed by this restaurant many times when I have been in Mall of Asia looking for something to eat. It looks nothing special from the outside. But then finally I thought I would give the place a try!
Chili's offers a little bit of the usual stuff for this category of restaurants. Tex Mex, ribs, chicken, seafood, sandwiches, burgers, steaks, salads etc. They also offer lunch combos. Actually it took me a while for deciding what to take. Many of the dishes in the menu looked very delicious. I finally decided to go for the Monterey Chicken. Grilled chicken breast topped with BBQ sauce, crispy bacon, cheese, diced tomatoes and green onions. Served with mashed potatoes and steamed fresh veggies. The waitress asked me if I wanted fried mushrooms together as a side dish. I really got the impression from her that the mushrooms were complimentary. So I didn't distinctively ask for the price, which of course I should have done. The food was quickly on the table and the portion was huge and delicious. The price for the Monterey Chicken was 485 PHP. When I got the bill they had charged me additionally 220 PHP for the mushrooms. The portion of the mushrooms had been very small. So I felt disappointed of the expensive price and the way the waitress had handled her upselling. So I asked for the supervisor and explained the situation. To my surprise she was very understanding and immediately offered me a compensation free of choice. So I ordered The Deep Fried Cheesecake as a dessert for 350 PHP. From the feeling of disappointment to satisfaction I become a very full satisfied customer. They also had a strong and fast WiFi net and clean and fresh comfort rooms. Burgoo is conveniently located in the south wing of Mall of Asia. The serving staff are nice and service minded. They introduce themselves and ask for your name. In case you forget the name of your waitress they write their name on the paper tablecloth. The menu consists not only of hamburgers, they have other dishes as well, Tex Mex, pizzas, pasta, seafood, steaks and ribs.
Bacon Cheeseburger and Seafood Jambalaya Supreme
First time I was there, I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger. Charbroiled Angus beef patty, grilled and topped with cheese and golden crispy bacon. It was served with U.S. fries flavored with sour cream and onions. The serving was generous and the burger was delicious. The second visit I went for Seafood Jambalaya Supreme. It was a huge serving of mussels, calamari and shrimps with ham, chorizo, green peas, green bell pepper, white onions, cajun spices in long grain rice and topped with deep fried chicken. The food was tasty but I preferred the burger instead of the Jambalaya.
Conclusion
They have free WiFi which was functioning to my satisfaction. The serving went smooth and nicely without any hustle and waiting. If you are looking for some burgers the American style I can recommend this place!

It's a great value hotel. Big clean room with wooden floor and bathroom in light beige marble. The AC is the old style which means a little bit noisy and it can be difficult to adjust the temperature. But still acceptable. Typical Filipino breakfast with coffee is included. Good location near everything here in Pasay. MOA (Mall of Asia) is just a jeepney ride away, 5 min and 8 PHP. Metro Point Mall and LRT/MRT (The metro rail system) in walking distance from the hotel. Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport is 200-300 PHP away with a taxi. WiFi is good even in the room. The downside is the neighborhood which might be a little bit rough at night time. Many karaoke bars and some short time hotels nearby. But I have never experienced any harassment what so ever.

Good value for the money, fresh and clean, good location. This hotel seems to be newly built or renovated. The only negative is their WiFi, it's supposed to be working in every room but it doesn't. The only place in the hotel you can be reasonable sure that's working is in the lobby area. A minor detail is when your WiFi connected device been idle for just a little while (around 2 minutes) then you need to logg in with user name and password again. So frustrating! Apart from that their Pancit Guisado is one of the best I have tried... and trust me I have tried a lot Pancits allover the Philippines.
